Flow

Like river water drifting across the landscape heading into its destiny so the water flows.
With it, it will take from that which it came from,
moving memories from one river bank to the other –
Flow.
Flow because the oceans await you.
Flow because the mountains have cried and
and sent you forth –
Flow.
Like river water drifting across the landscape heading into its destiny so the water flows,
smoothens the rocks and blesses the depths with pebbles.
Fresh mountain water, the saline waters; the ocean basin awaits you.
Flow because the mountains have cried and sent you forth –
Flow because your beloved awaits you,
Flow.
Like river water drifting across the landscape heading into its destiny so the water flows,
branches into the delta and into the arms of the ocean.
Flow because the mountains have cried and sent you forth,
Flow because your beloved awaits you,
Flow.

And like the river itself, this poem has a beautiful flow.
