Humble Woman

12th August 2014

2345 hrs

Today I saw a woman.

Probably in her late forties.

She couldn’t light her cigarette,
so I lit it for her.

Even before she spoke, I could tell she was living in utmost emotional pain.

She asked that we pray together,
that I pray for her parents, her brother, her carer.

She didn’t ask that we pray for herself.

Bless her.

May God give her the highest of ranks.
